Every now and then, users reach out to me regarding a variety of issues such as hacked sites, malware / viruses, site corruption, server data lost, etc. So in this thread, I want to share some facts, good tips, and preventive measures for our community to protect their assets and their sanity.

Let’s begin with some basic facts. I know most of you are very tech-savvy and you know this information already, but some of our less technical users may find it useful.
