FORMATION OF A NEW COUNTY-WIDE CITIZENS ADVOCACY GROUP IN CHESTERFIELD
After the recent negative experiences of many citizens with the Megasite proposed by Chesterfield County in the Bermuda District, as well as other rezoning cases and issues, members of the Bermuda Advocates for Responsible Development (BARD) are spearheading the creation of a new county-wide organization of homeowner associations, citizens groups, and individuals to advocate for greater communication, transparency and accountability in our local government.
An organizational meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, 7:00 p.m. at the Clover Hill Library, 6701 Deer Run Dr., Midlothian, VA 23112. PLEASE COME!!
At this organizational meeting, we’ll discuss general organization, leadership & structure, mission and goals, potential strategic initiatives, and whatever else is brought to the table. We’ll have a dedicated email address and a dedicated advocacy email mailing list. You can join that mailing list here: app.muster.com/392/supporter-registration/
