It didn’t have to be this way. There was no need to destroy America’s health insurance system entirely. You’re now paying more for less coverage, or paying a fine if coverage is too expensive for you to obtain. This is a disaster that all of we tea party folks easily recognized. All that remains now is to see how the debacle plays out, and to watch to understand who/which groups will seize this opportunity to their advantage.
Aetna’s decision to abandon its ObamaCare expansion plans and rethink its participation altogether came as a surprise to many. It shouldn’t have. Everything that’s happened now was predicted by the law’s critics years ago.
