It looks like Roxann Robinson won the GOP Canvass easily tonight. Delegate Sam Nixon was appointed by Governor McDonnell to head the Virginia Information Technology Agency. As a result, a special election will be held on June 15th to find his replacement in the House of Delegates. Since the Republicans had more than one candidate vying for the position, they held a Republican canvass tonight. They had three voting locations from 4pm-8pm tonight.
They had a total of 1,542 votes:

Sherman Litton 219
Brian Sullivan 210
Jay King 105
