“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” – United States Constitution, 10th Amendment

The response to our tenth amendment lobbying day and rally at the State Capitol on Monday, January 18th (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) has been remarkable. It’s going to be a huge—probably record-setting—event. We have a 1,000 confirmed through Richmond Tea Party. Are you coming and haven’t told us? Email and let us know at rs**@ri**************.com.

Virginians are tired of being treated like two-year-olds by our national government, and together we will stand up and demand our state representatives push back and affirm our rights under the tenth amendment. We will not let Washington force us to purchase health care that they control and we don’t want. We will reject their strong-arm tactics of taxation and imprisonment if we don’t fall in line with their demands. We will not be fooled by their attempt to grab as much power as possible under the guise of compassion. We know this has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with government controlling all aspects of our lives. It simply begins with health care.

Or does it?

Because if we stand up strongly enough, we can end the government takeover at health care instead.

January 18th, Capitol Bell Tower. Be there. Bring everyone you can.
