As you may have heard, President Barack Obama will be visiting Glen Allen this up-coming Saturday, July 14th. His visit comes as no surprise as all eyes are on Virginia; however, we here at AFP-VA want to welcome him with a slew of sign waves that will let him know that his economic policies hurt Virginia’s families.
With this in mind, come join AFP-VA and like-minded patriots to tell the President that Virginia needs less government regulation, and let him know that we stand for coal jobs!
Will you join us for roughly one hour on Saturday for a sign wave?
All of the info that you need can be found below…we hope to see you there!
Meet up location: Meet at the Glen Allen Softball Complex (2206 Mountain Rd Glen Allen, VA) at 11:00 AM on 7/14. We will head over to Walkerton Tavern & Gardens at 11:15 AM. The President is set to arrive at 12:00 PM, but we need to get there ahead of time to make sure that we are seen and our voices are heard.
Please note: homemade signs are welcomed and encouraged; however, we ask that you stick to economic issues, specifically the need for coal jobs in VA. We will provide you with an AFP-VA t-shirt and extra rally signs. Note: This is going to be a peaceful gathering, so we need to make sure to refrain from personal attacks and make sure that our focus is about the economic issues that we care so deeply about. In my opinion all teaparty groups better start speaking up against Obama around this country!!!!!!!! Do you realize half the people in this country think the teaparty has disbanded. Romney is going to have a very difficult time beating Obama, the Obama election machine is well oiled and ready to fight, lets hope Romney is not another McCain……..this country is doomed if Obama gets re-elected, and all those folks who voted for Obama in 2008 will be back out to vote for him again…this is by no means going to be an easy victory for Romney. We must take our country back in 2012, and clean up Washington DC.
