Well, seems like the usual suspects are at it again…looking to revive the bus transportation zombie by asking for a study on options. Of course, bus service is Chesterfield has been a huge loser due to lack of ridership, but hey, let’s give it another whirl! If this ends up getting life once again, know that’s it simply a wealth transfer from your family’s budget to another family…in the form of a transportation subsidy. Bus service in Chesterfield would likely not pay for itself, much less ever turn a profit. No, it will be one more parasitic program that consumes more units of your labor (money)….a program that you’ll probably never use. Watch for meetings and other opportunities to provide public input…we’ll have to fight this together.
