This is an election update:
In the two outstanding VA Senate races, state Sen. Edd Houck just conceded the race to Bryce Reeves in the 17th District, and Roscoe Reynolds conceded to Bill Stanley in the 20th.
So barring any other unforeseen developments, the VA Senate should be firmly 20/20 democrats/republicans, with Lt. Governor Bill Bolling (R) casting any tie breaking votes in the General Assembly. This gives republicans the slightest of advantage in the senate in this upcoming legislative session.
