Important Information for Chesterfield County Residents

One of the goals of the Richmond Tea Party is to encourage citizen participation in local government….to get engaged personally and meaningfully. One of the ways to do that is to join your local political committee. Its very hard to help craft the direction of government/politics in your local community if you are not seated at the table when important decisions are made. It is with this reality in mind that we wanted to remind you that the deadline to file your forms to join the Chesterfield County Republican Committee (CCRC) and/or to attend the 4th & 7th district or VA State Republican Conventions is fast approaching….in fact, the deadline is Monday at 6PM!

If you lean/identify more with the Republican party and live in Chesterfield, we encourage you to at least join the CCRC, even if you don’t choose to attend the upcoming conventions. Joining/registering is easy…you simply have to complete the official pre-file form and return it for submission. Note that there are small fees associated with some of the options, such as a $25 fee to join the CCRC (to help fund committee operations). We feel that these fees are entirely reasonable/justifiable, and we hope that they do not discourage your participation. Government only gets better with YOU in it!

The form details the official drop-off point to submit your form.

If you have questions about where/how to get your form submitted, you may enter your question below and we will attempt to address ASAP. Remember that the deadline is Monday 3/21 at 6PM, so your form would need to get to someone a period of time before that.

Eric uncomfortably admits that until about 10 years ago, he was a political "free rider", always thinking that others would do the heavy lifting to keep America on course. After watching both democrats and republicans steer us FAR in the wrong direction, Eric knew he had to get involved. Now working with Richmond Tea Party to advance conservative principles, Eric serves on the Board of Directors and as a resource for "all things technology".
