Richmond Tea Party just received this from Virginia Cowles, President of the League of Women Voters:
The League of Women Voters of the Richmond Metropolitan Area is sponsoring a program, “Perspectives on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” on Thursday, 28 April 2011, at 5:30 p.m. at the Tuckahoe Library.
Three speakers representing three very different positions will be on the panel: Ms. Hanken will speak in favor of Obamacare, Dr. O’Bannon will give the conservative critique, and Dr. Miller will present single-payer universal healthcare as an alternative. They have agreed to answer questions from the audience, and we look forward to a lively discussion.
We hope members of the Richmond Tea Party will be able to attend.
I know this is last minute, but please try to attend, if possible, and ask good, Tea Party questions. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with people who don’t agree with us and attempt to open their minds to the dangers of an over-reaching Federal Government.
