Here’s a chance for your teen to get involved in local government.
Chesterfield County’s Board of Supervisors is seeking input from future voters: 13 teenage volunteers to form “The Youth Services Citizen Board.”
They want two students — high school juniors or seniors — from each district, plus an adult for each district. They have never had home-schooled students in this program and would welcome them.
Read the article on the Chesterfield County website for more information and to see current members. If interested, complete the application. The Board would like to get applications back by mid-June. The selection process will start after July 1.
