So after just over two months of watching those we elected in November to solve our fiscal crisis do nothing about it, all the while telling the Tea Party to be quiet and be happy … are you ready to get louder? There will be a rally in D.C. this Thursday to support those few brave Republicans voting against the continuing resolutions and to oppose the others too paralyzed to take any real steps to prevent a total financial meltdown.

Details from Teapartypatriots.org:

When:
Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 12pm

Where:
Robert A. Taft Memorial, Washington, DC (North West of the Capitol Building, Directly West of Upper Senate Park)

Confirmed Speakers:
Tea Party Patriots Co-Founders Jenny Beth Martin and Mark Meckler, Rep Mike Pence (IN), Rep. Michele Bachmann (MN), Rep. Steve King (IA), Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX), Rep. Jim Jordan (OH), Rep. Tom Graves (GA), Andrew Langer, President of The Institute for Liberty, Colin Hanna, Founder of Let Freedom Ring, NY Times Best Selling Author and Commentator Dick Morris

Richmond Tea Party’s own Vice President, Phil Rapp, will be speaking on our behalf as well. Join him in supporting America’s future on Thursday in D.C. Being from Virginia, we are close enough to the nation’s capital that it is our duty as much as physically possible to personally represent those in the rest of the country who can’t make the journey. Let’s turn out enough patriots and show Congress that we will not be happy and will not be quiet until they slash our budget up, down, left, right, and diagonally, finally advancing real fiscal sanity in Washington.
