The House did its job in passing Cut, Cap, and Balance. Now it moves to the Senate. Lindsey Graham reported tonight that it will get a vote in the Senate Friday at 10:30am. That gives supporters only a few hours to shut down the phones for Senators Webb (202-224-4024) and Warner (202-224-2023) to urge them to pass this bill.
You may want to mention to them the results of questions 23 and 25 in a new CNN poll of adults that show that 66% of Americans support CC&B and 74% support a balanced budget amendment (part of CC&B), respectively. Despite the nonsense the media is pushing, the Tea Party has HANDILY won the argument on spending cuts and a balanced budget. Let’s make sure our Senators know this before the vote tomorrow.
