Friends, its snowing here in Manassas but thats nothing compared to the blizzard of insanity going on in Washington today. The Senate is threatening to pass an Omnibus spending bill unparalleled in its recklessness. Our economy is teetering on the brink, our deficit soaring every higher, and yet our “leaders” are attempting to pass a bill loaded with unimaginable and unprecedented pork and earmarks. This monstrosity:
* Spends $1.1 TRILLION
* Is 1,924 pages long at $575.13 million spent per page
* Spends $1 billion for pre-funding of the un-Constitutional Obama/Pelosi/Reid health care takeover
* Includes 6,488 PORK-BARREL EARMARKS identified so far
We sent a clear message to Washington on November 2nd….stop the spending and waste and get our fiscal house in order! But Harry Reid and his ilk don’t care about elections or the voters. In a last act of legislative sabotage, the Statists are giving it one more go before the new Congress of 2011 begins the to attempt to rebuild our devastated economic system. Just last night $100 Billion with a B was added to this bill! This is not legislation, this is GRAFT!
