If you don’t already have plans for Labor Day, the Powhatan Lions Club Labor Day Parade is tomorrow (Monday morning) and we would love to have you join us for a show of support for conservative principles with Dave Brat! We know there is a growing number of people who oppose conservatism who are planning to attend, so we’d greatly appreciate your show of support with “boots on the ground”.
If you are free on Monday, September 3, 2018 and want to walk in the Parade and hand out candy, we will begin lining up at 9:30 a.m. at the baseball fields at the end of Mann Road (2505 Mann Road, Powhatan, VA 23139). The parade begins at 11:00 a.m., but arrive early if you want to park near the starting point! The parade route is between 1 – 1.5 miles long.
