Although Richmond Tea Party does not officially endorse political candidates, we do try to help our readers understand what “makes them tick.” Shak Hill is a candidate for U.S. Senate, a challenger for the seat now held by Mark Warner. When I last spoke with Shak, I wanted to find out a little bit more about what drives this man to seek public office. Boy! Did I get more than I bargained for!
The “plank” of the Tea Party, in general, does not directly touch on social issues. I will tell you up front…this video includes a powerful rebuttal to the argument against abortion in cases of the “life of the mother.” But, that’s not the purpose of this post. I want you to know about the man who wants to be your senator. His powerful testimony is part of what “makes him tick.” The two are inseparable.
