Do you want to know why the Dollar is breaking down? The madmen at the Fed are printing them to fund federal spending.

Do you want to know why the federal government is spending them so fast? Here’s why:

    U.S. households are now getting more in cash handouts from the government than they are paying in taxes for the first time since the Great Depression.

    Households received $2.3 trillion in some kind of government support in 2010. That includes expanded unemployment benefits, as well as payments for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and stimulus spending, among other things.

    But that’s more than the $2.2 trillion households paid in taxes, an amount that has slumped largely due to the recession, according to an analysis by the Fiscal Times.

    Also, an estimated 59% of the 308.7 million Americans in this country get at least one federal benefit, according to the Census Bureau, based on 2009 data.

This is the endgame of the welfare / warfare state. It doesn’t get better from here; it gets much much worse. Those people are perfectly willing, and they have demonstrated their continuing willingness, to use their vote to point a government weapon at you and force you to support them. Some of them paid into a system they believed was some kind of payroll savings plan, a.k.a “Social Security.” These people, who, like you, worked for a living and whose money was also taken from them by force, are owed something in return. The people we’ve sent off to war deserve our ongoing support if they have incurred service-related injuries or illnesses. Most of the rest of it is pure looting. This isn’t rocket science; it’s arithmetic.

We continue to quibble about how all of these programs are “needed.” But the fact remains: Every dime you send to the federal government is given to someone else to spend. You’re not paying for national defense or to support the troops; you’re not paying for law enforcement; you’re not paying to protect the environment. We’re borrowing to pay for all of that, and you’re just paying the interest. Every dime you send to the federal government is eaten by someone else. You are their servant. Do you understand? Go to work and work hard for them; they, on the other hand, will continue to use their vote to make sure you do. Right up until the time they can’t anymore, either because they have crushed the dollar under the weight of their selfish, endless and ever-increasing demands, or because you have failed to slave hard enough for them.
