About Eric M

Eric uncomfortably admits that until about 20 years ago, he was a political "free rider", always thinking that others would do the heavy lifting to keep America on course. After watching both democrats and republicans steer us FAR in the wrong direction, Eric knew he had to get involved. Now working with Richmond Tea Party to advance conservative principles, Eric serves on the Board of Directors and as a resource for "all things technology".

New Kent Tea Party Forms!

Providence Forge residents John and Sharon Phelps along with two friends, Richard Dawes and Ron Stiers, decided that they had seen and heard enough of a government that was over reaching; spending and taxing us too much; and was so corrupt that they weren’t even trying to hide it any more!  They knew they could [...]

Having more and more people being employed directly by the government will only make it harder to improve that government, as those government employees will be hesitant to vote in a manner that will negatively affect them. For example, when sanity hopefully again regains [...]

Exposing Media Bias and the False Narrative against Conservatives & Tea Party Members

Again and again in the media in the last few weeks we've heard the constant droning on and on about how the "rhetoric" coming from the tea parties is "dangerous" and filled with "hate". We're called bigots, and it's implied that we're somehow against "civil rights". A few non-representative tea party protest signs are singled [...]

Call to Action: Requesting a vote on HB69 (Virginia Firearms Freedom Act)

(from Donna Holt of Campaign for Liberty) Dear Friends of Liberty, Senate Democrats, Saslaw and Marsh, continue to violate their own rules to prevent an up-or-down vote by the full Courts of Justice Committee on HB69, the Virginia Firearms Freedom Act. Such a vote would force Democrats to choose between their anti-gun position and the [...]

There's not much content, but the article was a fair description of the events (except for the low attendance number, but we're all accustomed to that). We tried to locate the article online for posting/linking, but were [...]
